73rd annual Clydesdale Foal Show in Lanark

LANARK Auction Market was packed with animal lovers as the 73rd annual Clydesdale Foal Show got underway.

The event first began in 1937 and organisers were determined to mark the 75th birthday celebrations (there were two years during this period that a show did not take place) with an unforgettable day.

Lanark, Biggar and Peebles Foal Show Society’s John Zawadski said: “It was important that we had a good show this year to celebrate our 75th anniversary and we did.

“We’ve got such a great venue, which really helps; the facilities are first class.”
