African Children’s Choir heads to Carstairs


The Choir are currently delighting Scottish audiences with their energetic concerts, and are now heading for Clydesdale.
They will be performing at Carstairs Parish Church in Carstairs at 7.30pm on Sunday, October 14.

After their Scotland dates the choir will be travelling to Northern Ireland and then onto England later this year.
The 38th African Children’s Choir comprises of 17 children from Uganda, whose smiles have recently been lighting up North America.
Music for Life, the official fundraising charity of The African Children’s Choir, work in seven African countries, and have educated over 52,000 children as well as impacting the lives of over 100,000 people through its relief and development programmes during its 28-year history.
The African Children’s Choir travels the world, acting as the ambassador for Africa’s most vulnerable children, raising much needed awareness as they go.

Funds raised contribute to the continued development and support of the Music for Life programmes that help educate some of the continent’s most in-need children, providing them with better opportunities; creating ChangeMakers for the future of Africa.
