All set for Douglasdale Folk Festival

FOLK fans are set to descend on Douglas for the annual Douglasdale Folk Festival in a couple of weeks time.

This year the festival has moved from the Glespin Hall to the Countryside Inn in Douglas and organisers are hoping that the change in venue will help boost audiences.

Folk Festival secretary Willie Ormiston said: “I think people enjoyed being up at Glespin.

“But for some people it was difficult to get transport up there so by moving it to Douglas we’re hoping that more people will be able to come along.”
