BIGGAR author Ann Matheson launches The Essential Robert Burns, which carries her translations of the poems right next to Burns’ originals.
And on a wet and wild day, Burns speaker Stewart Houston, who has been a guest at suppers as far afield as Russia, gives his view of the book.
Ann was asked to write the book by publisher Richard Stenlake.
