Approval for Lanark Textiles Group

Lanark Textiles was formed from a group of like-minded local needlewomen involved in creating patchwork, tapestry and other textile-related works.

To showcase their works and promote the group to new members, an exhibition was held in the River Room of New Lanark Visitor Centre.

The Lanark Textiles members were joined in this venture by the earlier-established Homespun spinning group.
