Art workshops running throughout Easter holidays

A HOST of arts and crafts workshops for all the family are taking place during the second week of the Easter school holidays across the Clyde Valley.

From April 7 to April 14, the South Lanarkshire LEADER Programme has teamed up with South Lanarkshire’s Voluntary Arts Forum to offer new, fun activities and encourage people to explore the area.

On Monday, April 9, from 1pm to 3.30pm a paper masks workshop will be held at Rosebank Nursery in Rosebank.

Created through sculpting the paper and contrasting the colours, this workshop will appeal to both adults and children alike.

A woodturning demonstration by Tommy Turley will take place on Tuesday, April 10, from 1pm to 3.30pm at the New Lanark Visitor Centre.
