Artist Carol Taylor joins North Sea Gas at Biggar

Hosted by the Biggar Gallery, the event, which will be held in the Biggar Corn Exchange, will see North Sea Gas take to the stage and entertain the audience.

There will also be the chance for discussion with Carol and her brother, mycologist (fungus expert) Dr Andrew Taylor, from the world-renowned Hutton Institute in Aberdeen on the country’s landscape and how it inspires great art.

Ken Fowler, from Biggar Gallery, said: “We are delighted to welcome Carol, Dr Andrew and the North Sea Gas boys back to Biggar.

“It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some good music and discuss how our country has shaped so many great artists and musicians.

“I think people will really enjoy the discussion with Carol and Andrew.

“They will be discussing various images that will be shown and there will be an opportunity to chat with the audience and some very good banter throughout the night.

“The band will also join Carol and Andrew on the sofa to discuss their music and how Scotland influences them.”

Scotland - Influencing Art and Music is at 7.30pm in Biggar Corn Exchange.
