Athenaeum Winds to play to Biggar
Five young wind players studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland have joined up for a concert in Biggar.
Athenaeum Winds were formed in 2010 and now Biggar Music Club is looking forward to presenting their concert on Friday, November 23.
The band is a diverse and adaptable lively group with a passion for learning; since forming they have represented the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland in concert at Dalmeny Kirk, played in the BBC offices at the Pacific Quay in Glasgow and in a number of concerts within the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, formerly the Royal Scottish Academy for Music and Drama.
