Betty Fraser Harris (90) hosts smallest show on earth in Dolphinton?!

COULD Clydesdale be about to go in the record books for hosting the SMALLEST arts and crafts show in the world?

That accolade might soon be going to Betty Fraser Harris, at 90 years old still running her one-woman business making products from Shetland fleeces in a room of her cottage near the village of Dolphinton.

Such has been the continued public interest in the beautiful items she is producing, she’s decided to throw open her workplace – what there is of it – to visitors for a short time.

There will be an entry fee of £2 but Betty is not trying to ‘fleece’ anyone for her own personal gain as the cash will be split between three of her favourite charities – Oxfam, Help for Heroes and The Heather Trust.

She will be holding viewings on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in September, from 10-11.15am, 11.30am to 12.45pm and 4-5.30pm.

Pre-booking is essential between 7pm and 8pm on 01968 682263.
