Biggar concert will celebrate its young Rising Stars

A CONCERT celebrating the young talent in Biggar will be held to coincide with the town’s Gala Week.

The Rising Stars concert will be held in Biggar Corn Exchange on June 13, the eve of Gala Day, and will feature some of the most exciting young talent in the town.

Headlining the concert will be young ceilidh band KODA.

The talented group of youngsters have built a steady reputation for themselves across Scotland.

Indeed the group played Scotland’s premier music festival, T in the Park, highlighting their talent.

The bill will also include Sophie Cameron, who recently won the vocal section in the South of Scotland Young Musician of the Year awards, and a place on a musical theatre course.
