Biggar stores up for awards
Staff at two Biggar High Street stores were celebrating being up for top retail awards.
Atkinson-Pryce Bookstore bagged the award for the Retailer of the Year in the book and stationery category in the Independent Retail Awards.
And Plaisir just missed out having been up for the award in the health and lifestyle category.
Both stores being nominated is all the more remarkable as they are next door neighbours.
