Biggar Vintage Car Rally 2011
FOR the 39th time Biggar became the destination for almost 1000 venerable vehicles from throughout Scotland and beyond, gathering for the Annual Vintage Rally.
To the credit of their devoted owners and the mostly long-departed motor companies which originally made them, the vast majority of the lovingly cared-for cars, lorries, vans, tractors, motorbikes and military vehicles made it to the town’s Showground under their own steam – and, yes, there WERE steam engines there too!
