Biggar’s Atkinson Pryce up for top bookseller award
STAFF at Atkinson-Pryce Bookshop in Biggar have been nominated for a prestigious industry award.
The bookshop, which is based in the town’s High Street, has been shortlisted for the Independent Bookseller of the Year award at the 2013 Bookseller Industry Awards (BIAs) which will be held in the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane on May 13.
This is the first time Atkinson-Pryce has made it to the national award stage having been shortlisted at a regional level for a number of years.
Chris McCosh, of Atkinson-Pryce, was delighted to find out the bookshop had made it through to the national finals.
