Call for re-run of Rock the Racecourse at Lanark

LOCAL rockers shared the stage with rock icons (well sort of) as music loving Lanarkians Rocked the Racecourse.Top of the bill were U2 tribute band, aptly titled 2U and they almost blew the speakers inside the marquee at the Racecourse with a blistering set of classic tracks, from the Dublin rockers.

Top of the bill were U2 tribute band, aptly titled 2U and they almost blew the speakers inside the marquee at the Racecourse with a blistering set of classic tracks, from the Dublin rockers.

They were ably supported by local talent as a healthy crowd filled the tent, to the delight of event organisers the Lanark Round Table.

And the message from the bands and those who were at Rock the Racecourse is simple – bring on next year!
