Carluke Kirkton Players are drama champions
MEMBERS of Carluke’s Kirkton Players are celebrating being crowned Scottish champions.
The Players had taken to the stage at the MacRobert Theatre, in Stirling, for the finals of the Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA) one-act play festival performing In The Blinking Of An Eye by Welsh playwright Jeremy Hylton-Davies.
And members were delighted when it was announced that they had won.
The Players are now on their way to Wales to compete in the British Championship in July.
