Carluke’s Kirkton Players compete for Scottish Championship
CARLUKE’S Kirkton Players have joined other groups converging on Stirling’s MacRobert Theatre for a prestigious national drama festival in the hope of winning the Scottish Championship.
The finals of the Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA) one-act play festival are taking place in the theatre, beginning yesterday (Thursday) and running until Saturday.
The Players will be performing In The Blinking Of An Eye, a 30-minute tragi-comedy, by Jeremy Hylton Davies, whose credits including writing for BBC drama Doctors and Ancient Rome: The Rise And Fall of an Empire.
