The special edition model has been created by Aston Martin’s personalisation service, Q by Aston Martin, in celebration of the partnership between the two luxury brands. Only 18 Bowmore DBX models, which feature Bowmore-branded copper inlays made using copper from the original whisky stills, Bowmore tweed accents and a stunning colour palette inspired by the company’s Islay heritage, will be built before they are delivered to customers at a private lifestyle experience in Scotland.
As well as the luxury 542bhp, V8-powered SUV, owners will be invited on a 170-mile road trip to Islay where they will get the opportunity to hand fill their own bottle of 39-year-old Bowmore whisky straight from the cask.
It’s not the first time Aston Martin and Bowmore have worked together. In August, the pair released a £50,000 whisky together, the Black Bowmore DB5 1964 as part of a series of limited edition, co-branded bottlings.
Orders for the DBX Bowmore Edition are open now and customer deliveries will take place in quarter four of 2021.
