Celebrate the Clyde Valley at Blossom Day on Saturday
It is being organised by the Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership in association with the Lanarkshire Farmers Market, and they promise a great local family event with activities, music, advice, superb food and growing themed give-aways, in a marquee alongside the market.
And the new Clyde Valley Tomatoes company will have its first public sale of its mouth-watering produce.
Blossom Day runs from 9.30am until 2pm and entry is free.

Residents and visitors will see the snow of the past few weeks replaced by the ’snow’ of fruit tree blossom across the valley sides as damsons, plums, apples and pears come into flower.
