Charity’s Christmas fundraiser

A Cumbernauld-based charity is having its annual Christmas shopping night.

The Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments will host its Christmas shopping evening in The Craighalbert Centre on Thursday, November 14, at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the event, which are available from the centre now or at the door on the night, cost £5 and include wine and nibbles.

Stalls at the event include jewellery, handmade cards, wooden gifts, stationery, sweets, Betty Bubbles, tarot readings, books, Christmas decorations, accessories and much more.

A spokesman for the charity said: “The Christmas shopping night has been one of our most popular and successful fundraising events.

“This year promises to be no exception with some great stalls, old and new, booked in to come along.

“There will be a fantastic selection of goods on sale and it’s the perfect place to pick up a Christmas gift that’s just that little bit different or to treat yourself.

“As you know fundraising is a very important part of our income and we would be very grateful if you could come along and support this worthwhile and most enjoyable event.”
