Clydesdale’s historic buildings open to the public this weekend

SOME of the most historic and well known buildings in Lanarkshire will open their doors this weekend.The annual Doors Open Day event takes place on September 10 and 11 and every part of Clydesdale has events.

On Saturday, a number of buildings, normally not open to the public, will be brought into action for the day at New Lanark’s World Heritage Site, while others including Holy Trinity Chapel at Lamington and Corehouse will open.
