Coy Dogs back to rock Cumbernauld’s Corbies

ROCKABILLY outfit The Coy Dogs is back at the Twa Corbies this Friday (September 16).

The band offers 1950s style rock and roll featuring stand up slap double bass, two guitars and drums, playing songs by the likes of Stray Cats, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and more.

Doors at the Corbies open 8pm and entry is just £3. The organisers recommend turning up early as these nights prove popular.

At their last Corbies gig in July, the Coy Dogs wowed the crowds with their 1950s look - which was also adopted by many in the audience - and played a set including numbers by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Gene Vincent. The dancefloor was packed with people jiving the night away.
