Crawfordjohn date for Phil and Aly

TRADITIONAL music lovers are in for a treat later this summer as Scottish music legends Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain return to Clydesdale.

The duo will be bringing their considerable musical talents to Crawfordjohn Hall in August with the event already heading for a sell-out.

Widely regarded as one of the most exciting and innovative accordion players of the times, Phil Cunningham has taken this instrument from strength to strength, setting the standards by which many young players fix their sights today.

Aly has received many honours for his services to music, including four Doctorates, an MBE and numerous Honorary Citizenships in the USA.

He continues to be an ambassador for Scotland abroad and a powerful advocate for traditional music.
