Cumbernauld Youth Theatre to play at major festival

A GROUP of young performers from Cumbernauld Theatre will soon perform an original production in a major festival.

Cumbernauld Youth Theatre take to the stage in Rothes Halls, Glenrothes with the Book of Grimm, as part of this year’s National Festival of Youth Theatre.

The festival showcases the best in Scottish youth theatre and the Cumbernauld entry is a dark take on the Grimm fairy tales which explores themes relating to fear.

The local youths will perform this Friday, July 15, at 3.15pm. Tickets. priced £5/£2.50 for under 18s, can be booked on 01592 611101 or online at www.attfife.org.uk.
