Don’t miss Biggar’s Big Day Out on Sunday

THIS year’s Biggar Day Out promises fun for all the family and there are plenty of events throughout the afternoon to keep all ages happy.

The ever popular street entertainment and food and craft fair on Sunday, October 20, will be enjoyed by all as will the festival fair.

At noon the first BLF family fun run will begin at the showfield. The 5km event has a 60s theme so expect to see a few moptops and mini-skirts on the course.

The book fair at Biggar Puppet Theatre gives bookworms, young and old, the chance to pick up a bargain.

Biggar Gas Works will host a Steam Day while Moat Park Heritage Centre will also be opening its doors.

Over at the Taj Mahal Restaurant there will be Henna hand painting, giving kids the chance to get a non-permanent alternative to a tattoo.

While the kids can enjoy all these activities, the adults will delight in the second day of the Biggar Little Beer Festival, held at Gladstone Court Museum.

It all adds up to a Big Day of fun!
