And with the choir now into its second year under the conductorship of Ukrainian soprano Oksana Mavrodii, it promises to be a fantastic evening’s entertainment for everyone packing into Lesmahagow Old Parish Church.

The concert kicks off a busy few months for the choir as members will be part of a mass male voice choir concert to celebrate the Commonwealth Games at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow in early June.

The choir’s annual concert is on Thursday, March 6, and Friday, March 7 in Lesmahagow Old Parish Church starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £8, are available from Sneddons Bakery in the village, via the choir website or 01555 894747.
