The Eastwood choir was originally formed through the merging of several church choirs from the Eastwood area. It’s very first performance was a ‘Messiah for All’.
Anne Brooks, treasurer, explained: “We are a mixed voice adult choir, based in Giffnock and drawing members from across East Renfrewshire and South Glasgow.
“The aims of the choir have endured over the years and include encouraging people of all ages to sing and involving the local community whenever possible. We hope the community will come and celebrate our anniversary with us.”
