Eve Pollock is enjoying first solo art exhibition

Eve (64) is hosting a two month long exhibition at the Aroma Coffee House in Biggar, entitled In And Around Lanark Market.

The exhibition showcases 23 paintings and focuses on characters in the market.

Eve said: “It’s been a bit frantic trying to get everything ready for the opening but everything is now sorted.

“There is a multitude of different characters in and around the market so it’s a great place to start.

“I love animals, which is quite a contradiction considering what is going on at the market, but there’s something magical about the place.

“The atmosphere is always electric – it’s great for my work.”
