Kirsty will be in the town on Saturday, May 16, to celebrate publication of her novel, The Gracekeepers.

However, Kirsty is no stranger to Biggar having previously been resident at Brownsbank Cottage for a writing retreat and visited Atkinson-Pryce for a reading and signing during her time there.

“It is delightful to be welcoming Kirsty back to Biggar and with such an excellent book,” said Chris McCosh of Atkinson-Pryce.

“We know that the author is a very good speaker and combined with a delicious lunch at the Elphinstone, this will be a lovely event.”

“A wondrous story which is simple, beautiful, magical and heart-breaking, The Gracekeepers is so much more than just a fantasy novel.

“Set in a superbly imagined world, with post-apocalyptic undertones, the characters and their relationships are immediate.”
