Our reporter Kaitlin Wraight took to the streets of Glasgow to find out what people think about Glasgow cuisine and what some of their favourite dishes are.
From international imports to the home comforts, there was plenty of opinion on what makes good food in the city.
Take a look below at some of the city’s favourite dishes.

5. Italian food
“In fact, I'm from Tunisia, North Africa. I'm an English language teacher. I'm here in Scotland visiting the country. I appreciate it. I like it. The people are very friendly. Most of the Italian places in Glasgow are pretty good. Pretty good. There's a lot of respect. Amazing country. Lovely weather. I'm lucky." | La Lanterna

6. Fern Cakes
"Empire biscuits. I don't know if that's actually Glasgow, but Empire biscuits. Rolls and sausage, obviously. Fern cakes. Cherry cake. That's the stuff I've made. I lived in Canada for years so I had to make it all over there because you couldn't get it." Photo: Susie Lowe

7. Tattie Scones
"There's nothing like it anywhere else. My family just doted on dumplings and potato scones. I had to make them by the dozens at a time, like a potato scone factory, going through and freezing them all. You just can't get them anywhere else. " | Brownings

8. Irn-Bru
“It's like in the 60s, we used to go down to Dorset camping. You couldn't get potato scones, Irn-Bru, there's another one. You couldn't get Irn-Bru. You couldn't get anything. Especially square sausage” Photo: Shutterstock
