Radisson Blu on Argyle Street, close to Central Station, was voted number ten on the list of 100 best modern Scottish buildings by readers of architectural magazine Prospect. The Grahamston is the hotel’s restaurant on the ground floor serving a fusion menu packed with international flavours. Think sriracha prawns, Gochujang chicken, Asian-glazed barbecued sirloin, and cod supreme with curried lentils.
We are here as the hotel is sponsor of the King’s Theatre pantomime this year, is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and The Grahamston has a limited-edition cocktail menu inspired by the whimsical world of Peter Pan to go alongside their Christmas menu.
The Tinkerbell cocktail sparkles with bubbly prosecco and edible gold glitter, while the Peter Pan cocktail, a Cranberry Old-Fashioned, bursts with festive flavours, blending Maker’s Mark bourbon and cranberry juice.
The festive menu features dishes including sriracha prawn cocktail featuring tempura prawn served with sriracha Marie rose, pickled cucumber and mango salsa, and mains including chargrilled turkey and butter masala sauce, followed by desserts including clootie dumplin cheesecake with a stem ginger anglaise.
The festive dining and cocktail menu is available until 5 January, served from 5pm to 9pm, Monday to Saturday. Guests will enjoy a glass of prosecco on arrival, with the two-course menu priced at £27 and the three-course priced at £32.
Garry McBride, Food and Beverage Manager at The Grahamston, commented: “At The Grahamston we pride ourselves on merging creativity with culinary expertise, and this season is no exception. Our partnership with The King’s Theatre has inspired us to create a new festive menu and Peter Pan-inspired cocktails, capturing the whimsy of the story in a glass.
“This festive season, we’re inviting everyone to join us at The Grahamston for a pre-theatre dining experience that’s as enchanting as the performances at the King’s Theatre. It’s not just about the food or the drinks; it’s about creating moments that leave a lasting impression and the celebration of flavours, creativity, and Glasgow’s vibrant cultural scene.”
