Stravaigin celebrates 30th anniversary this weekend with Sam Heughan's whisky

The landmark West End bar and restaurant is bringing back menu favourites to celebrate 30 years of local hospitality.

It has been a cornerstone of West End hospitality since 1994, a buzzy neighbourhood hub and inspiring folk to wander through international flavours with an eclectic menu. Now, Stravaigin, the Gibson Street bar and restaurant is celebrating its 30th anniversary, with a special weekend of throwback dishes and delicious surprises from Friday 25th until Sunday 27th October.

Known for an ethos of imaginative world food dishes using the best of Scottish produce, along with a lively characterful bar heaving with an ever-evolving wine list, craft ales and glorious cocktails, Stravaigin has underpinning its success with staff – currently led by Olivia Wong – Scotland’s Bar Manager of the Year. Three of the most recognisable faces at Stravaigin: Marquis (Scotland’s Bar Tender of the Year with 21 years service), Anu (11 years service) and Head Chef Jambo (6 years service) have each selected their favourite throwback dish which will make a return to Stravaigin’s a la carte menu.
