To date the fundraising total is £1,120 – smashing their original target of £800.

Linzie said: “We agreed to do this over a few glasses of wine – it wasn’t until the next day that I realised what we had done! We decided to do a skydive as last year Diane completed this challenge and we would like to support her by doing the same.

“We’ve spoken about doing it for a while and decided to just go for it.

“We were lucky that there was a skydive event coming up. There’s no training involved, you just turn up on the day and go for it

Linzie continued: “It’s such a great cause that is very dear to our hearts though, so we want to raise as much money as possible.”
