Funny men John Gavin and Bruce Morton star at Biggar

BIGGAR hosts two of Scotland’s best comedians at the Biggar Little Festival this Friday, October 18,in the form of Bruce Morton and John Gavin.

Bruce returns to Biggar after successfully supporting Fred MacAulay at the Municipal Hall back in 2009.

An acclaimed comic and storyteller, Bruce was a founder of the Funny Farm Comedy Collective which helped kick-start the Scottish stand-up scene.

Local lad, and former Scottish Comedian of the Year, John is supporting Bruce at the gig on October 18.

John, originally from Forth, started on the circuit in 2008 after his wife Michelle put him in for a competition without his knowledge.

A month later he ended up in the final of So You Think You’re Funny 2008.

The following year he won the Scottish Comedian of the Year title.
