Get involved with this year’s Govanhill International Festival and Carnival

Individuals, businesses, community groups and organisations are invited to take part in this year’s Govanhill International Festival and Carnival.

They are being encouraged to organise their own events that will be included under the umbrella of Govanhill International Festival and Carnival.

Councillor Soryia Siddique said: “After last year’s success, I am pleased that Govanhill International Festival will return this year.

“It is proposed for August 1-11, promising to be a colourful, vibrant celebration of the diversity, culture and history of the area.

“I look forward to seeing the community getting involved and making it another successful year,”
