“This year marks 50 years of number one hits from the world’s favourite record label”.
Hits by the Temptations, Supremes, Four Tops, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie and more feature in the hit concert show.
In 1963 Motown was regularly topping the charts in the States. Heat Wave by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, You Really Got a Hold On Me by The Miracles, It Should’ve Been Me by Kim Weston and Can I Get a Witness by Marvin Gaye paved the way for the label’s meteoric rise to become the most influential and successful record label of all time.

“Our young cast is able to reflect the exuberance and excitement of these songs as they were originally performed.”
To mark the occasion, The Magic of Motown is preparing to sign, seal and deliver its biggest production ever in its ten-year history with the planned tour taking in 100 prestigious venues - including Glasgow
Male lead Andre Lejaune says that the cast has rehearsed an all-new arena show for 2013 to celebrate this golden anniversary.
