’Gow High pupils join Male Voice Choir for concert

MEMBERS of Lesmahagow Male Voice Choir will be joined by talented pupils from Lesmahagow High School for the choir’s annual concert later this month.

The choir, led by Oksana Mavrodii, will be joined by fiddler Frazer Murray, pianist Beth McPherson and vocalist Danielle Campbell. The school’s soul band with singer Courtney Gold will also perform. The concert is also the first outing for the choir’s new pianist Liam Lees who has taken over from Julian Hodgson.

The concerts take place on Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13, in Lesmahagow Old Parish Church from 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £8, are available from Sneddon’s Bakery, Lesmahagow Resource Centre, the choir’s website or from individual members.
