The theatre is bringing a host of top class children’s performances and with a firm-favourite family swimming pool, a café on site and the ‘Best Park in the UK’ across the road, it’s best to beat the boredom at Eastwood Park.

Kicking it all off on Friday, October 13 will be The National Theatre of Scotland’s Rocket Post, a creative and fun science workshop where you will join the rocketeer scientists and help build a new rocket that will help take your letters on a very special journey. There will also be a fun show with a mix of songs and storytelling, bringing imaginations to life.

You could take a dip before doggy adventure Hairy Maclary on Sunday, October 15, featuring many characters from the popular children’s books in a must-see show for all the family with music, singing and several favourite Hairy Maclary stories.

Dive into Don’t Dribble on the Dragon on October 16, featuring magic designed by Paul Daniels in a story where Tom the toddler has a cool older brother, a secret dragon….and a dribbling problem that won’t stop!

A trio of CBeebies favourites star in The Three Musketeers at Eastwood Park Theatre on 17 October. Fresh from this year’s Edinburgh Festival, see chaos, mayhem and stupidity reign supreme as children’s comedy trio the Three Half Pints swish their swords, buff their boots and flourish their feathers in their most ridiculous adventure yet. It’s the last chance to see this show so get your tickets now!

Finally, one for fans of dance and drama, come along for a very special date which combines both as international dance cast Room 2 Manoeuvre take to the stage in Without a Hitch on Friday, October 20. Suitable for aged 11+, head along for the workshop at 1pm as dancers from Room 2 Manoeuvre take you through the foundations of breaking, hip hop and learn footwork, freezes, power moves and tricks alongside hip hop grooves. The show Without a Hitch takes place in the evening and combines the best of dance and drama as hip hop and urban take to the stage. The story follows the downward spiral of a four man b-boy crew as ambition, jealousy and frustration manifest in a group struggling to move in the same direction.
