Lanark art exhibition - and lots of Christmas fairs

A big exhibition of wee paintings is asbout to be staged in Lanark.

The Corra Linn Art Group are mounting their ‘Exhibition of Small Paintings’ in Lanark Tolbooth today and tomorrow, from 10am until 4pm daily.

Ten per cent of sale prices and all donations will go to Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust Volunteer Driver Service.

In St John’s Church, Carluke, Shine Musical Theatre are having a Christmas fair, starting at 10am.

Forth St Paul’s Church has its Christmas Fair, from 10am until noon, and then Coalburn Pipe Band holds its fair in the Victoria Hall from 2pm.

And entertainment later today includes Kirkton Players performing In the Blinking of an Eye in Forth Church Hall at 4pm, Lanark Rotary Club’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Blues Revue in the Harry Smith Complex, 7pm for 7.30pm, and the stunning Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers perform The Way of The Drum in the Memorial Hall, Lanark, at 7.30pm.
