Kelburn Brewery was established by Derek Moore in 2002, after he saw a gap in the market for real ale in local pubs.
The Strangers Bar in the House of Commons offers two cask ales when the House is sitting and MPs may request one of these to be a specific cask ale from their constituency.

East Renfrewshire MP, Paul Masterton said: “It has been great to be able to promote the Kelburn Brewery down in Westminster. In the week it will be in the Parliament bar, I hope to introduce colleagues from all parties to try a bit of East Renfrewshire.
“They will then find out what we already know, that this constituency produces the best ale in the UK”
Owner of the Kelburn Brewery, David Moore added: “Kelburn Brewing Company are delighted to have Goldihops being poured in the House of Commons. I trust that those who manage to sample our award-winning beer will enjoy the experience.”
