Locals come out for Lesmahagow Doors Open evening

A wet and windy night didn’t stop a huge number of locals turning out for the annual Lesmahagow Doors Open evening.

Abbeygreen was closed off for the event as everyone had the chance to snap up some bargains for Christmas locally rather than heading off into the city centre or larger shopping centres.

As well as the local traders remaining open for the night, the newly refurbished Fountain Hall was open.

Children were given the chance to meet Santa Claus while parents had the time to check out what some of the village’s local groups have to offer and to pickup some bargains.
