Music in Lanark unveil autumn and winter concerts programme

Music in Lanark has unveiled its programme of concerts for the autumn and winter – in its new venue in New Lanark’s Institute.

And the group hopes that, with a wide range of music in conjunction with special exhibitions, larger audiences will go along.

Explaining the move away from Greyfriars Church, Music in Lanark chairman Jamie Hill said that the group wanted people to go out to more than a concert.

“The Institute is a much more flexible space and we are planning to have added attractions such as art exhibitions and wine tastings with the concerts,” he said.
