Music in Lanark’s La Boheme is this Saturday
THE first formal event of the season for Music in Lanark is La Boheme, a full-cast production of the classic Puccini opera, this Saturday.
It is set in a student garrett in Montmartre, Paris, where one of the students falls in love with Mimi who is dying of consumption.
“It is a jolly tale of life and death,” Music in Lanark’s Jamie Hill said dryly, “but with some wonderful music which everyone will recognise.”
