1.What do you like most about Cumbernauld?

I have always love the sense of community and the passion Cumbernauld residents have for their town.

2.If you were stuck on a desert island what would you take with you?

Music, my four Chihuahaus and two Lhaso Apsos plus a crate of wine!

3. What do you think is the most over-rated virtue?

Patience!

4.Favourite designer?

High street brands like All Saints and Diesel but I have always loved the tailoring and quality of Vivienne Westwood.

5.What’s your ideal holiday destination?

I recently visited Hawaii - amazing! You get the best of both worlds during the day lying on a gorgeous secluded beach island then jump along into Honolulu for some great shopping and nightlife!

6.Name three people alive or dead you’d like to go for a drink with with.

My first would be my late father. As I’m now an adult I realise how much he and I have missed out on. Next is American activist Harvey Milk,I went to the Castro in San Francisco to see where he changed a generations mindset for equality and a whole city embraced him. Finally, Madonna!

7.What modern day gadget can you not live without?

My laptop.

8. What’s the favourite item in your wardrobe?

My skinny Diesel jeans - I’m just chuffed that they still fit me at this age!

9. Describe your perfect day off.

Meeting up with friends in Glasgow for lunch and drinks, doing a wee pub crawl hitting a cabaret bar and a nightclub!

10. Who is your inspiration

My mum – she has been through so much in her life and yet she thinks always about others - she’s so kind and the life and soul of the party!
