Panto provides a change of pace for EROS

PICTURE, if you will, that age-old favourite of panto, Cinderella, given a Glasgow edge.

That’s what is about to take stage at Eastwood Park Theatre this month as EROS Musical Society takes up pantomime for a change of pace. The theatrical group had been going for 50 years, but is better known for staging musicals.

This year, they thought it would be good to take something as well known as Cinderella and put a Glaswegian-panto spin on it. But in this world, there is no wicked step-mother and Cinders’ father is being chased by the bailiffs, having fallen on hard times. So Glasgow.
