Same great music

CUMBERNAULD music promoters The Noizy Indie Social Club showed that a recent move to Croy just means “different venue, same great music”.

Kicking off were Cumbernauld mod rockers The Replay, who showed just why they are one of the best live bands around with a storming set. Highlights were new songs ‘My Next Trick (Will Be Impossible)’ and ‘Grown Old With Age’, both from their EP ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much’.

The Puzzlers were worthy replacements for Strawberry Ocean Sea who had to pull out, with new tune ‘God’s mistake’ their standout track. Other favourites included ‘Gypsy Violin’ and ‘Tumble in Despair’. If you get a chance, check these guys out live – AWESOME.

Headlining were The Rudiments. Front man Stuart Smith was on top form and as well as their trademark driving acoustic 60s sound the guys have a hint of Weller in many of their songs. The Noizy’s next gig is Martin Stephenson at Croy Miners’ Welfare on Saturday, November 26. See Facebook for more.
