Santa coming to Leadhills and Wanlockhead Railway

THE countdown to Christmas is well and truly on – as Santa comes to the Leadhills and Wanlockhead Railway this weekend.

There will be plenty of festive train rides, mulled wine and mince pies in the engine shed and a chance to see Santa and his family at the Hidden Treasures Museum of Lead Mining in Wanlockhead.

The annual event is always one of the more popular events on Britain’s highest railway and this year is sure to be no exception.
