Simple Minds man Mike Ogletree coming to Lanark Vogue
HE might have been in Simple Minds, but forthcoming Lanark Vogue charity gig headliner Mike Ogletree had a clever idea when he left Scotland to work and live in New York.
Knowing that the city, along with the rest of the States, is full of Scots-Americans thirsty for the culture of ‘the auld country’, he decided to transform himself from Eighties rockstar to America’s Rabbie Burns.
Although the drummer with Simple Minds, Mike is very much an all-round muso.
