The cross-country event will see astronomers looking to study the night-sky with a little help from the BBC show of the same name, presented by Professor Brian Cox and Dara O’Briain.

In Clydesdale, New Lanark’s Roof Garden is the setting for the official Stargazing Live event with members of Clydesdale Astronomical Society bringing along telescopes on the night to allow people to inspect the sky closely.
