Super Sunday ahead in Clydesdale today

In Forth the village gala week kicks off with five-a-side football at Recreation Park before a kids disco in the evening.

Villagers in Pettinain can enjoy the village fun day which starts at 1pm at the sports field.

Dippool Cottage, near Braehead, will open its doors from 2pm to 6pm as part of Scotland’s Garden Scheme while Lesmahagow Young Farmers will host their annual treasure hunt; the first car will leave the Fountain car park at 6.30pm.

And over in Carluke, youth group Street Level is having a praise night in Kirkstyle Baptist Church at 7pm.
