Take part in Strathcarron’s Tiara Walk

Television host Lorraine Kelly is once again set to lead the walk on Saturday, May 12.

Lorraine said: “This is the fourth Strathcarron Tiara Walk and I’m delighted to once again support Strathcarron Hospice with their fundraising efforts. Training for the walk is a great way of getting rid of those extra pounds that we all put on at Christmas.

“I hope lots of ladies will join me for the walk, as not only is it good fun, but it’s great to know that you are raising money for such a wonderful cause.”

The event features either a five or ten mile walk around Stirling, with entries limited to 2500. Entry fee is just £20 and every participant will receive a special Midnight Walk T-shirt, refreshments, backpack, medal and breakfast on finishing. Each walker will be required to raise a minimum of £30 sponsorship. Participants are required to be 16 years and over.

The hospice also is looking for potential volunteers for marshalling duties.
